Minstermews Ragdoll Cats

My name is Shane Schofield and I am a GCCF registered Ragdoll breeder.

Stuart, my husband, supports me with my love for the breed and all of our Ragdolls live very contentedly within the family home.

We are based in Leominster in the beautiful north Herefordshire countryside located on the borders of Wales, Shropshire and Worcestershire. We are 12 miles from the Cathedral City of Hereford.

The Minstermews prefix

The prefix 'Minstermews' is a creative combination of the 'Minster' in Leominster and the contented 'mews' of our much loved Ragdoll cats and kittens.

Leominster is a countryside market town full of ancient black and white timber-framed buildings and prides itself on it's Priory, a Minster built on the grounds of a Benedictine Priory dating back to 1123.

The Minstermews mission

Our mission is to assist, responsibly, in the creation of new life, to nurture our kittens from conception to three months of age and to ensure that they are placed within kind, loving homes.

GCCF Registered Breeder

Acquiring the ongoing knowledge and skills of a reputable breeder and maintaining high standards of care is a continual and essential process.

We attend frequent Ragdoll Seminars relating to the genetics and standards of breeding and also attend professional lectures on topical health issues from the scientific veterinary perspective.
